What are the weirdest reasons you have heard for people being laid-off? I have heard someone getting laid off because they missed submitting their time-sheets for 3 times in a year.

M26, I'm scared of a relationship. I've never been in one before and mostly had FWBs and just really good friends but never made the leap. Part of me is torn cause I think I'm still too young, ambitious and enjoy my independence but I'm reaching a point of getting tired of the same old same of opening up to new random people and making new fwbs I'm emotionally and physically invested in. Hello, I have accepted an offer at a competitor company and sent in my resignation letter. My start date is 5 weeks from now so I put in my end date 4 weeks from date letter was signed. The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?
