Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I wouldn't leave a remote job for less than a 30% increase if I was lucky enough to still have one. They've all but disappeared over the past couple years. If you've managed to dodge all the RTO mandates to this point, you're one of the very lucky few and shouldn't be walking away for less than a career altering move.
Ugh. That really seems like the truth. I don’t want to give it up and never have the opportunity again
Yes! I’m staying
I’m fully remote but only been a year and a half so not sure about how fast my pay will increase. I’m happy with what I’m getting paid currently. For me though, I put a lot of value in WFH. I have more time with family that is priceless. Both my son and hubby WFH. I don’t have to spend money on work clothes, shoes, makeup, hair products, gas, car maintenance and risk of car accidents. I hated the amount of laundry I had every weekend. I dreaded waking up early to get ready plus travel time. Not to mention, avoid office drama. I had more energy and time to go to my workout class after work. Even if they gave me 50% more, I would be very hesitant. My quality of life will change. And that also means they will give me more responsibilities = more stress. But that’s just my perspective.
I've been back in the office for quite some time so it's not an option, sad to say. If I was offered a remote job I'd consider it seriously, as that would be attractive. Like you say, I think the ones that exist are grandfathered, there doesn't seem to be a new crop of them coming along.
I currently am fully remote, and it’s been a big factor in me staying at the same company. I feel stuck here because I need the location flexibility, but my pay hasn’t had much change in the least few years.
Yeah I think it depends on what type of company it is. I was with a very large fortune 100 company.... Got fired after 16 years. But the pay was great and the job position had growth with many more roles within the position. Now that I am remote at and a new place that is dramatically larger in revenue but not market cap. This place has no growth within the role so I can only grow my job band through merit or move laterally to a different department and hope for a pay raise and a larger job band. However I rather stay where I'm at so I know it will take me about 10 years to get to my top pay rate in my job band. It all depends on how profitable and what margin your company makes in the industry. My former raked in the cash my new had thin margins so they don't provide that kind of growth within the role.

I’d enjoy it but wouldn’t be fully married to it
Good perspective
I would never move for a job. I love where I live so much and have experienced what living in the wrong place can do to you mentally! I moved away from the nature and into a city and it was the worst mistake, for a job that paid more. My whole lifestyle changed and I hated it. I then moved back and took a job for less pay and it was the best decision! Hybrid / remote working is the only way of working for me! I wouldn't apply for a fully office based job and I would leave a job if it went fully office based also. It is my no.1 priority

It really depends on what you value most. Even being on a hybrid schedule with three days WFH, I’d definitely think twice before giving that up for a new role. That said, I wouldn’t stay only for the schedule if the right opportunity came along. It’s about the full package.
There are fewer remote jobs than there were previously but remote roles aren't going away entirely. People have been exposed to it and love the idea of a more flexible and cheaper lifestyle. Smaller companies also love the idea of paying FAR less for office space to keep themselves competitive.
I think WFH is going to be tied to the job market trends and right now, it's a rough market so firms have more leverage which we see with demanding more experience and lesser pay. WFH (or lack thereof) is just another perk. Once the job markets gets better, I think we'll see an uptick in WFH.
