Does FANGG allow for fully remote positions? What kind of roles can I get with a background in IP litigation?

Actual confession. I have IBS so the remote-first nature that many workplaces are now adopting has truly saved my mental health and maybe even career.

I want a job where I can work remote and do something involving excel or coding. I have a Bachelor’s in Accounting. Does anyone have any suggestions or willing to refer me at their company?

It is often seen in tech roles that employees are able to do remote work. I wonder how engaged do these workers feel with the companies they work. Are these freelance? Full time? How do you get paid? The startup I work with provides perks and benefits to remote workers in addition to pretty convenient payment solutions (crypto, our e-Wallet, banks worldwide), and therefore I’d like to get to know your thoughts on this!

So this past week was my birthday and I work remote so I took Wednesday off my birthday and the rest of the work week I worked during the day in Vegas - made my regular Thursday HR meeting and in teams my manger asked me how was Vegas multiple times. Friday comes around and my manager tells me that it’s not working out and to send in my resignation letter and turn in my equipment on Monday.
