I’ve been at a Big4 audit firm for the last 14 years. I had the opportunity to join the partnership 2 years ago but declined as it required an international relocation for 3+ years. Unfortunately my path is unclear now, however I have an opportunity for non-big4 direct admit and Controller role at a PE backed private co. The culture and role at the private co. seems great and the compensation is tremendous (base+bonus+equity ~ 500k).

Any suggestions/observations on the best path?
