I’ve been full-time remote for a few years, working from the same town for two distant agencies in a row… but realizing that to change jobs now most gigs are on site so I’ll likely have to move to a city where the job is. My worry is that moving a family is no small thing, and what guarantees are there that if you pull up your roots that you’ll have at least a full year working in the new place? Will companies guarantee a year under contract? Is that unheard of?

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
