Ive been in Federal IT audit (FISCAM, FISMA and SOC) side for 3+ years and just want to start in more technical side of the house. I learned alot about auditing IT controls but want to explore more technical job and just dont know what is out there. What career path do you guys recommend in cybersecurity? I do have sec+ and studying for cisa right now. I do have TS/SCI w/ poly as well. Any advice?

Airbus: 26lpa + 5 L joining bonus with 3 year lock in( location : bangalore)
Shell: 26 lpa ( final offer being rolled out)location : bangalore

Please advice which company would have a good growth story and work life balance....

I have been working as accountant for past 10 years at a logistics company. I want to change my route and join different industries for better challenges and opportunities. How can I approach new firms with this single industry background.

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. The work seems like it’s not a good fit for me but it feels crazy to pass up trying to get that amount of money when there really isn’t a realistic alternative to that amount of wealth (and I do want that amount of wealth).

Anyone here broken into real estate private equity from big 4 consulting? What steps did you take to jump into RE PE? What gaps in knowledge did you have and how did you fill them? Outside of the knowledge gaps what other things do you think you needed in order to get into RE PE?
