I've been in my role a few years, I'm debating how to make a step up whilst staying in my current role. I'd potentially like to start studying alongside work but I'm scared it won't actually benefit me. My company does support paying for training or qualifications but if I leave in the next few years I'd have to pay it back. Is it actually worth it?

I did it this week and let me just say it was the weirdest conversation ever. The guy is usually argumentative and tries to disprove every bit of feedback. But this time he just sat there and asked no questions and said nothing.
