I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

What’s the point of choosing to regret it now? What’s done is done.
It’s good you went your own way and chased your dreams man. It would have backfired if you didn’t. You developed yourself as a person and I hope she did too. If it’s meant to be you’ll end up together and if you don’t someone else will come on your path.
You’re exactly where you need to be. Nowhere less nor more. Don’t waste time thinking of what if you had done something wrong. You made your decision and you better of for it. Now use that and go succeed in other parts of life. If there’s a chance of reuniting, then attempt to do so by presenting yourself to her. But if she lost, than go on and live your life. You are 27!
Relocated for a job leaving behind my gf and dogs. While we’re making distance work I can tell she’s losing my interest. If I stayed, I would have been a loser and she’d have probably lost interest eventually. It’s a catch 22

Maybe you really didn’t balance work and the relationship enough and could’ve done more. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that and still determining you’re in a good place now and are happy with the outcome. Doesn’t have to be an either/or.

You failed to take the lead in the relationship and were looking for her approval as you took your MS. Don’t let yourself feel unworthy of any woman ever again because it always spells the end of the relationship. Congrats on your degree, and hope you find someone who will stick with you even as you go after your purpose!
Life is busy. You prioritize and make time for goals and people if you care about them. Maybe you just weren’t that into her? You chose to distance her when in all actuality that’s not necessary to complete a masters. So, maybe deep down you weren’t that into the relationship? I’m not sure if you communicated your long term plans to her or not but you can’t just put someone on a shelf and expect them to wait for you.
