How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

After about 3 years. I don't want to get labeled as a job hopper, but that's about as long as I'm willing to stay at one role. Raises never seem to keep pace with the increasing cost of living. The easiest way to significantly increase TC is by switching companies.
That seems to be the trend, a lot of raises fall into the low single digits category. And recognition can be hard to come by. What often happens is people get pigeonholed, and management only sees them as doing what they're currently doing. It's a tough trap to fall into, as you can wind up with a limited skill set and it becomes impossible to move up or get a decent salary bump. The best solution is usually to move on to another organization where you won't be undermined by how your current managers see you.
You need to move to somewhere that will appreciate you. 8m revenue is insane for no bonus, let alone a tiny raise
Sounds about right honestly. Salaries never match the amount of work we do and when you ask for a raise they always say its just not in the budget. Sounds to me like it is time to start looking for something new or looking to see if there is something else out there for you.
