Having off on Christmas Eve is ideal, too. And New Year’s Eve. These are low productivity days anyway.

Those sound pretty standard. How are you handling "optional" holidays?

So far they are opt-in holidays. No formal request beyond notifying leader. I want to switch to floating holidays (x2-3) instead to be inclusive of other observed holidays.

Guys, Anyone commuting using Uber and claiming Hybrid Productivity Allowance?

I'm asking this because the other day, I took a ride worth 260, the bill shows it correctly as 260 but invoice shows it as 320 and has a tax related breakup.

I have intermittent fasted and I think my diet is considered “keto” I remove all@processed sugar and I’ve lost 20 pounds on accident. It has extremely nice aesthetic effects but I did it because I was feeling heavy and my stomach was always a problem. Removing complex carbs helped allllllot

Have you terminated a manager for poor management skills? There is no one issue but a pattern of subpar management and negative feedback both by survey and in person by the person’s direct reports. We have someone who is really trying but after a formal management training, feedback in mid year review and weekly 1:1s with the person’s manager and bi weekly meetings with me, this manager is simply not coachable. Have you leveled with someone and let them leave on their own for messaging?

I have a team member who has a tendency to miss deadlines, is reluctant to take on tasks which they don't like or refuses to participate in company-wide mandates w/o me & the other team members validating the why's. Prior to joining my team, this behavior was alluded to but never told to me directly. Now I'm seeing it. I've discussed missed deadlines which are acknowledged but w/o permanent resolution. General Question I started tuition reimbursement last year in August. I since have an interview with another job that is paying a lot more. You know how you apply to something not really thinking that job would call back? Should I get an offer, what do I do about tuition Reimbursement? Do they send a check and tell me to pay it?
