We’ve got more initiatives to come, but this was a big one for us. What is your agency doing to help? Share below!

That’s common in pretty much every advertising market. Maybe more so here, not sure, but it does feel like I’ve noticed it more here lately. Smaller shops, smaller budgets, so hiring people has higher stakes out here. It shouldn’t, really, but agencies here think it does anyway. Also, another major problem is most agencies here are bad talent evaluators. They don’t understand how to interview properly or evaluate a portfolio or even understand what their own needs are creatively. The market here is just immature, it’s no one’s fault really, just how it goes. Can’t expect it to be at the level of a NY, Chicago, or LA just yet. Hopefully someday.
Yep. Its a small market. Small talent. Inside the agency pool. Decision makers. Isolated. Lack of experience. Business acumen. Relationships over performance.
