I’ve noticed that job postings often ask for a long list of skills that don’t always seem related to the core role. It makes it hard to know whether companies expect candidates to have everything or if they’re just describing an ideal. When you’re deciding whether to apply, how closely do you match the listed requirements?

Joined a new firm at the start of this year but it’s not a good fit and I want to leave for a different role type. Will it look bad to potential employers if I leave this company after 6 months? I was with my prior employer for 2.5 years before this.
