I've spent my entire career in tech and while it used to be exciting, great money, and fun, now the $$'s still good but role's nothing but Zoom meetings and slideware. I dream of leaving the house during daylight hours and working less than 60 hours a week doing something I love, but have no idea where and not ready to retire... Anyone else been in this position? Hows the work and work/life balance at full-service agencies vs a media agency. I'm a media planner coming from a full-service agency and I'm wondering if it will be a step backward going to a media focused agency.

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Building out a new function at my company, top 15 bank in the US, and scheduled a 90 minute meeting last week for today. Invite included an agenda and a teams link to the document we would be reviewing. Also asked for attendees to review ahead. 20 minutes in, my co-worker exclaims while I’m mi-sentence we should meet Thurs. after having a chance to review content… WHAT?! What should I have done in that situation?

So this dude asked me late last night if I wanted to call him and said he needed someone to talk to while working late..told me to let him know if I had a guy over then he’ll talk to someone else. I didn’t have a guy over and not that kind of person so why assume that? It pisses me off.

Took my little dude to Target so he could buy a Xmas gift for his sibling. While browsing, he lost his $42 he’d been saving up. Same kid found a wallet packed with cash and credit cards at Disney a couple months back, and gave the wallet to the Disney employees —cuz it was the right thing to do. Growing up was rough. On my 8th birthday my dad had an accident that led to this death a few days later. He was a good man who took care of us all (I had 3 siblings now 2; lost 1 few years ago). I'm in a good place in life right now I only find myself in the last 5years shedding a tear once a while when I'm alone. It startles me because I was a tough kid who didn't cry and just soaked it all in and rolled with it. I'm almost 40 and can't explain what's happening with these tears.

I’m so grumpy about new campus hires. Sometimes I’m judgmental (your hobby is “working on your golf swing,” really?). Sometimes I’m just exhausted by the worried earnestness. Sometimes I’m amazed that they seem to have zero useful skills, yet they’ll be making 150k easily in the not too distant future.
