I recently joined nagarro.... was on bench for almost a month as I was not getting project as per my skill set. Recently got one project as per my skillset and cleared client interview also.
But during the time, I was also looking outside for good opportunity, I have one with same package from a product based organization.
What should I do now ? If I resign , would Nagarro release me early or I will have to serve complete notice period?

If you want to work in BL go now because it’s much easier to go BL to B4 than the other way around.
In my experience, the transition from B4 to BL is fairly difficult (but not imposible). BL looks down on any accounting firm. Out of curiosity, what’s your comp looking like? When I was in a B4 they basically paid half of what BL was paying.
The average for B4 is in $130k-135k w/ 15 bonus.
For what it’s worth, I am at midlaw and we routinely have people join from B4. The jump from midlaw to biglaw could be your path, if you don’t mind an extra stop along the way. Agree with other comments though that I’ve heard the “easiest” time to get in is at the start.
Fair point. Maybe look to specialty firms like Groom, Miller and Chevalier, etc. that are a complete tax firm if that’s the size/locations you are looking for. There’s a few midsized with solid tax groups out there
It depends. I found it pretty easy to transition from Big 4 to BL, but I was also at a WNT practice in Big 4
Which WNT practice
Where are you located?
NYC
It’s very competitive.. you will be competing against people from other BLs & MLs + B4 trying to lateral. But then other than low salary, B4 isn’t a bad option if you truly want to do transactional/planning tax work. A lot of those work are handled by B4 now (other than Baker or DLA) . I’m a tax lawyer at a BL for now, but I would not mind switching to B4 as a partner in near future (hopefully)…
