I relocated here from Canada where I worked primarily product management/marketing for 10 years and now I can’t find a job.

I moved here for my husband and have been looking for a job for the past 10 months and nothing is coming up. I’ve had interviews where I was the top applicant and the jobs would mysteriously be shelved for the next fiscal year.

I’ve been applying on LinkedIn. Is there another job board that I should be looking at?

I have a first round interview with my dream job tomorrow. I’ve prepared but I’m so nervous and I don’t wanna ruin my shot. Please advise me on what good questions I can ask? It’s a fast growing Tech company and the role is Senior Accountant. Thank you in advance! 🖤

Does anyone know how it works if you have an Interview with someone who knows your current seniors in the team? Is there a policy where they can’t mention anything or does that not really exist?

Has any of you attended interview with ServiceNow company? I am shortlisted for second round, want to know what to expect in 2nd round and what to prepare.

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

I'm working on a Fintech startup related to commercial banking pricing. We would like to do some "expert interviews" with current RMs (we would compensate your time.) We want to better understand the friction points when it comes to price C&I or CRE loans. Please DM me if you are interested.

We are not looking for any private information, but more anecdotal evidence of issues that can be improved.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

I interviewed with Citi's internal audit last week and they said after the interview was over I would hear back next week. So far, crickets. I kind of need a job right now. The jobs site still says "business review" as far as application status goes.

Has anyone felt that they are incapable of cracking coding interview no matter how much they practice , I for eg feel I CANNOT think fast in a timed test to solve a coding problem no matter how much I practice ,it's not just my cup of tea and that leaves me with a lot of frustration .Anyone else as well ,what to do😢

Currently in audit and want to switch to transaction services. I’m a senior now and an offer from accounting advisory just came in. I tried applying to TAS but no returns from it. Will it be easier to switch to TAS from accounting advisory?

I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results.
