My first daughter goes into kinder this upcoming year. What do parents in PA do during spring break? Our district also has a fall break. Both breaks hit during my busiest time

Cont’d: My husband will be taking that time off to do something fun and some day trips, but I am dreading missing out on that quality family time. :/

Does you company have backup care? PwC gives 10 days at the discounted rate of $25/day. That’s helps a bit. But make sure to reserve the days well in advance since school breaks are most popular times.

My oldest was K this year and we didn't do anything too special (wife took them to her parents for a 4 day weekend while I worked). Next year I'm just going to plan something ahead of time and be gone Sat-Tues and trust my teams to figure it out.

I am in the same boat. My kids have a 2 week spring break in March and a 1 week fall break in October. We generally find camps that appeal to their interests. And also signing them up with a friend to make it seem like they have a playdate all week!

Should I refer my SO to Google?
(Does she have a real shot?)

She's a Project Manager at a global auto parts manufacturer.
Her role is 30% technical, 70% business (meaning she has good problem solving and stakeholder mgmt skills).
5 YOE+Degree at a top engineering school in Europe
My experience at Google made her interested in joining the company, but we never really acted on it.
Could she be a good fit?
If so which areas/orgs?

(Also, are there any rules against it?)

I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?
