Joining Deloitte from 82K to 100 K plus 5K sign in bonus plus 6% AIP. 12 years total experience including automation and RPA. On H1b so options are very less. Just need to know how soon does the promotion happens and how is the raise. Got designation as Solution Specialist, have asked for Senior Solution Specialist. Have a stable and nice project but changing due to low salary.

The pay is not at par with Deloitte consulting. You would be with Deloitte USDC and promotions can take 4+ years. With your experience they should bring you at senior solution specialist. If you are desperate, join D for the brand and switch to tech companies or industry in couple of years to demand 140 plus.

Hey, I made this move couple of years back and I don’t regret it monetarily. There are few more benefits which is way better than Infy. Same work and more money. But I feel more dispensable here and absolute no connect with leadership. Am not in to core consulting, so can’t talk about it.

Great, I will be reporting to USDC , not into consulting. Thank you for responding

You should at least come in as senior solution specialist with your experience.

I understand that. Working here for more than 12 hrs everyday and earning such low. Have lot of dependency on me so I think this is a good time to put paper. Should have 1 offer in hand to negotiate with current company:) Also, cleared 3 interviews in product based company but due to H1 , they can’ t proceed.

Ur making less than 82k in infosys ?

Ok thank you

Any chance of promotion, HR mentioned that promotion will happen soon for u

@D6 consulting is different from USDC

Ok thank you

at 12 year exp you should be targetting solution architect or solution manager...not solution specialist..... solution specialist is a very junior position at usdc.....

They have fooled you... solution specialist is for 2-5 year exp.... it is just one level above college graduate level(solution analyst)....no way meant for 12 years exp......so basically you may report to a senior solution specialist who would still be 6 years junior to you....and promotions are almost non existent at usdc....it is designed to keep you as coder till 50 years of age

Note to removal defense lawyers. Bond approved last Tuesday, one week before today’s merits hearing. Client couldn’t get out of jail because bond payments in central Ohio can only be made on Tuesday and Thursday. Luckily, Judge continued hearing so client can be placed on non-detained docket. Lesson is to know when bond can be paid in your area to try to avoid future problems.

How's Edelman NY? Getting hit up for Health which I've never done. It'll entail moving from advertising to PR/earned creative as they call it, and the Health category. Didn't sound like hard sell pharma, quite a bit of branded video content. I searched on FB, sounded mostly negative culturally (employee fired during Pride month, political, creatives better watch their backs, climate denier) with a few who love it. Figured I'll ask if anything's changed, if it's even worth ... considering.

To all my SDRs/AEs/AMs/BDRs that are out there, I’m running an experiment that I’ve never seen before: Have you ever worked together with a teammate to close your company’s deals? I’m talking start to finish of sales process, from cold call to closed booking. I’m curious to know if folks always tackle calls by themselves, particularly intro calls, and beyond. Obviously there has to be a handoff at some point, but where is that inflection point? Trust is probably THE most important rapport
