Just got C1 Manager promo and bumped to 160k TC. Interviewing with PWC and others and have gotten 180k base and TC at $200+. Should I stay here and keep climbing for Senior Mgr or jump ship for extra $40k?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Industry imposter here…How do you show progression on your resume when your internal levels changed, but the title doesn’t indicate a promotion to the rest of the workforce. (e.g. a senior product manger to a technology strategist)…It seems like a lateral move unless you were internal and knew it was a level 7 to level 8.
