What do you make now? What are your hours? How many days are you currently remote?
Compare this to what you are currently making/doing.
130k now. Hours can be anywhere from 45 hours a week to 70 hours a week depending on the project. I’m in consulting so we’re permanently remote now.
They emailed me saying they could move it up to $130k, which is what i make now. But I’m going to make manager in the next year, which is $150-$170k. So it just feels not worth it.
Unless of course people share experiences saying they took an initial pay cut and got into the PM space, and for higher comp later for the same good WLB. those are the perspectives I’m looking for
