Just had an interview for a PM role @ a credit card company around an interesting P2P lending product.

They said it’s a senior manager role (<=5 YOE), but comp is only $125k base, and an annual bonus up to $12%.

My next promo cycle will bring me up to $150-$170k, so it just seems like too steep of a pay decrease in a half year’s time to be worth it.

Is PM comp really that low outside of FAANG? Is this pay cut worth it for potentially better WLB & to get into the PM market ecosystem?

Has anyone successfully turned their side gig into full-time? Or an income enough that it could be?

Have to take short term leave due to current health condition, can I claim short term disability benefits while on H1b visa? Thanks in advance for any info.

So I recently interviewed for an associate PM role with my current company. I’ve been a store manager with them for 11 years. During the interviews, I felt like things were growing great and the feedback I got at the end was great. You’d think given my time knowing the product/ company for so long, that I’d be a great fit but I got rejected and haven’t gotten feedback probably will get ghosted.
