I managed to secure an interview for JP Morgan Chase. This is for Asset & Wealth Management Global Private Bank Analyst program 2023. I ask my recruiter and he revealed me some info. This is a single interview session of 2 hours before getting any offer. I will face 5 interviewers. This will be all behavioral. For people who got into JP Morgan Chase, do you have any tip for me to pass this interview for this entry level role? JPMorgan Chase

Something very similar happened in both rounds during my interviews with BCG- to the point where I was convinced I failed both rounds (ultimately got the offer). My sense is that they pressure-test you during the interview to test the bounds of your thinking and how you would deal with difficult clients.
Have heard the more you get pushed the better, it means you’re doing well. If you’re actually bombing the case they will just try to help get you through it to make the experience better
The harder you’re pushed the better you are. No one is squeezing blood from a dud
Agree I push only when the case is actually going well. If it’s going badly I’m typically very nice and not demanding about it
thanks guys! makes me feel better. he challenged me during the fit part of the interview and then left during the case and then came back all chill. tomorrow i have the final one and we’ll see how it goes 🥴
... after the case he started being all cool and chill and even smiling. is this a good
sign? would you think that my noticeable nervousness in the beginning was crucial?
Crucial as in it was a good thing to be nervous? He might have just been seeing how you would react to being challenged repeatedly by a difficult client
Probably just trying to see how you handle being challenged and facing a stressful situation. There was a case like that when I interviewed too
Why do you leave McKinsey?
im in an analytics team and im my case moving into generalist consulting is pretty hard within the firm, but apparently other firms are interested in my profile for generalist
