At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. BCG or MBB folks, got a call from the recruiter today that the outcome of decision round and calibration call today was positive and the lead partner will give me a call on Monday to discuss with me on the role and offer directly by himself. Trying to get some inside from the HR but she just asked me to wait and hear from the partner, sounds a bit weird and surprise to me as normally this state was usually with the HR.
