Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

If you did not get the email, then it is fine to send a thank you via LinkedIn. Nothing creepy about it. LinkedIn is a professional platform. If you said FB or Insta that’s a different story. As you did some of the process through LinkedIn it is ok. Next time ask for an email to send a thank you note. You could also write to your recruiter via Linkedin and ask for the directors email and see what they say. Seriously though if they react negatively because you send a thank you note via LinkedIn that is telling you some very important information about them. Do what you feel is the right next step for you. Good luck for your next round!
Agree with M1
And I had a call today with a director of a boutique firm so I can’t assume the email address and couldn’t find it on the company website or anywhere else...is it okay to message them via LinkedIn? Just to say thank you? The recruiter already messaged me to set up time to meet with ceo
I've gotten thank you notes on LinkedIn, didn't find it off-putting at all. It's my choice to make my profile searchable. Although I agree with the above that better choice would be to ask the recruiter for email address.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I asked the recruiter for the email and emailed them this morning. I still feel weird about the LinkedIn messaging (still see it as social media) but maybe that’s the direction it’s going in. Either way, felt more comfortable with a traditional email.
