I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Alcohol addiction, liver failure and then it taxed the kidneys too much, she went into cardiac arrest at 9 am and they could not save her. She was 51. Sad day for sure. Been lurking on this group for a while. I’ve only traded stocks ever. What’s the best way to start with options? Any great video tutorials or websites that can help me understand the basics. I only have theoretical knowledge of options thanks to a derivatives class I did at college.

New to options - understand the concepts - have taking some trainings on the Greeks and IV - what I am struggling with is how to start and bring it all together. Don’t you have to ultimately start with speculation on an underlying equity - then you look at the Greeks and technicals to find a good position? Sorry for the beginner question
