Anyone take the CFF exam?
I have a dear friend who was recent laid off from a tech company. I’m currently in my first in-house counsel position and was able to secure the job off of cold applying and don’t really have much advice to give. I really want to help support. I know about goinhouse.com and I know people say recruiters (I never found them helpful so wondering how). How did you find your gig? Sites? Been laid off and how to bounce back? Thanks!

I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

LTI and Mindtree merger planned on 6 May as per media report . The brand name Mindtree will be dissolved. Seems appraisal discussions and hike is pending due to this event.
Don't expect good hike and people who can sense the future work culture , will start looking for the change now

Congrats. Personally, I don’t put a lot of weight in PMPs as some of my most inept and clueless PMs have been PMP certified while some of the best have not needed one. But CISSP is a biggie so I’m thrilled for you. I agree with a lot of the other comments here. Agile/Scrum/Sigma are good. Or if you are set on a career in Infosec, then why not follow up your CISSP with a CISM or CISA? Just a thought
Do you still see opps for lean, sigma improvement gigs? Switched to consulting because Agile dried them out I thought. Thoughts?
Scrum is more valuable than PMP from what I have felt lately. But I am in data science where everyone hates PMP poking their noses in stuff they don't understand.
PM me OP. Accenture security is hiring.
I can see the CISA but why would Op benefit from getting CISM? That's just isaca version of CISSP
OP. Sorry for changing the topic. What were the preparation materials you used and your study plan
Thanks OP
How about agile certifications?
K1, I thought about that. Do you feel they are valuable if you don’t intend on working in a truly Agile development environment?
