Accenture India Lately there are so many hr openings with Accenture in almost all portals naukri, indeed, monster, linked in etc but there is not a single response infact I have the cc number wherein status is reflecting as hr will contact you ..but I have not received any revert, tried emailing the hr through a reference got an auto email stating out of office nd shared his contact number to connect, when tried calling hr,he was annoyed but I guess he forgot that he himself has shared the number. I applied for a secretary job at a local agency. Got it, enjoyed the work and things just kind of took off from there. I went in figuring it was just a temporary thing, not a career, but ten years later and I'm still here.

This happened to a Kaiser Permanente leader. She took a temp admin job over the summer, decided to stay, and now she's the Regional President!
I just graduated and needed a full-time position. One of my classmate was already working as a claim adjuster and they were hiring so he made a referral. After two years I moved to UW. My degree is in Finance. In college I thought I would be working in Corporate Finance, not insurance. But here we are 20 years later.
That's a really interesting question. I think for me it was about finding something in a bad job market and just sort of drifting along in my life. I don't mind insurance, but it was never my dream and it is certainly not my passion.
I think that's a lot of people in insurance, to be honest. I don't know of anybody who dreamed of working in insurance, we all just sort of ended up here and stuck around.
Rising Star
I came into it through marketing. I needed a job, and I knew there were some types of companies I just couldn't feel good about promoting. Kaiser seemed like one I could feel good about. Here I am still, 20 years later.
I applied for a recruiting position at a brokerage 4 years ago and I love it. Although I'm not an agent, I see where there is really good money in insurance not to mention you are building your own clientele and helping people in the process.
