They’re separate limits and types. You should do up to your match max to get free $ and then do the megabackdoor, IMO.

If you are single you are in the 24% bracket likely. That is a grey area and it may make sense to split it. I assume your after tax has the ability to be rolled into Roth right away?

Just curious, what percentage of your billable rate do you take home? Calculation would be ((Salary and Bonus/Yearly Billable Hours)/Billable Rate). For me it's about 18% as a Senior 1 in M&A Tax (note this doesn't include other benefits).
