Keep hearing that most exits in LCOL cities will take a payout if you’re a PL, but that there are a lot of roles that are remote, job market is hot, etc. so that most PLs are getting a pay bump. How do you reconcile these two?

Is it impossible to work for agencies in overseas remotely? I’m currently out of the state and I’ve talked to some recruiters in the US and they all said to reach them out when I come back to the state. I have a duel-citizenship of the country where I’m staying at and the US. The roles were 100% remote jobs.

I work in an old school company that does not allow anyone to work remote except for management if necessary. Ever since the pandemic started, it’s been a regular day reporting to work and sitting in the office all day.
