Keep hearing that most exits in LCOL cities will take a payout if you’re a PL, but that there are a lot of roles that are remote, job market is hot, etc. so that most PLs are getting a pay bump. How do you reconcile these two?

High paying remote roles are very uncommon.

In what industries? I thought Manager/junior partner exits were generally getting pay raises in biotech/pharma and tech, where most roles are remote, no?

Seems like you’ve already reconciled those two, no?

I’m not seeing how both can be true, so seeing if I’m missing some interpretation here

I got a pay bump to 360k going to a MCOL city

Is it impossible to work for agencies in overseas remotely? I’m currently out of the state and I’ve talked to some recruiters in the US and they all said to reach them out when I come back to the state. I have a duel-citizenship of the country where I’m staying at and the US. The roles were 100% remote jobs.

Hey Mates I'm working in pretty good fintech firm. I'm in my 30s with 2 kids and they are calling everyone to office by January I want remote job and would never want to live in any city again. Wondering which route to opt? 1. Start investing in open source and build a profile, find freelance jobs on upwork/Fiverr Or 2. Start giving interviews in remote jobs. FYI I'm terrible at interviews and spoken communications. Please provide your inputs. I want to work remote with good pay.

Hi ladies. I was hoping anyone here knew of any part time or evening remote jobs. I work as a recruitment coordinator. As much as I love my job and the people there, the salary just doesn’t quite cut it for me. I’ve been struggling to keep up with bills plus paying for my daughter’s daycare. I was hoping anyone had any suggestions on where I could look for part time jobs. I’m even open to doing weekends. I feel like I’ve applied to a ton of jobs but nothing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I work in an old school company that does not allow anyone to work remote except for management if necessary. Ever since the pandemic started, it’s been a regular day reporting to work and sitting in the office all day. Due to Covid, we decided it’s best to not meet in person but stay in our desk and talk via Teams/zoom. I am now struggling on finding a remote job because I don’t have any remote work experience. Any tips on how to get a remote job in HR?

Thinking about trying to find a full-remote job due to my partner applying to residencies at a lot of hospitals not in cities I could transfer to or that don’t have any Big4 at all. Is there anyone out there who’s done or is doing something like this? How do you like it? How did you find it? Background: I am in Accounting Advisory Services, and love technical accounting so might struggle with a basic accounting position at a small company, but not sure what else to look for in my situation.
