I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

Accenture India Hi Folks Need your advise. One of my friend has an offer from Honeywell Chicago. He is currently working in Accenture India. couple of questions if you can help me with.
1. Honeywell Offer $180,000 p.a. vs INR 20 Lakh in Accenture(due for 12% Fixed increase and 20% Variable wef Dec'22) . Is it good to join considering relocation cost and tax structure in US?
2. how is the work culture and growth opportunities in Honeywell Chicago office?

O&P in the US has longer cases (3+ months instead of 6-8 weeks for traditional CDD/strategy) with more travel. Quite a bit of post M&A integration work. I never had hands-on experience with O&P, but O&P seems slightly less stressful since (1) you have more time to figure things out and (2) you have a closer relationship with client contacts
The work is very different, on-site more and longer projects but also less big picture. Hours can be similarly long to CDD/strat. If you are in O&P you will only work on O&P with other O&P people so the skillset you develop will be different. O&P is also not industry aligned like the rest of the firm.
When I was at LEK (all CDD work) I worked with the O&P partners on a joint client case, sell-side DD with exit prep plan. They were good guys, maybe a little more chill like Deloitte partners.
O&P and similar groups at other firms make for great exits to value creation roles at PE portcos.
