I wouldn’t do it. Work at D is a lot better than EY especially in Toronto (ex EY here)
Former EY PAS. In the industry D HC group is known as the best, how come you’re leaving?
In tech, my experience on many clients was the CM work was not valued and often an afterthought. Clients always loved the OD and op model work we did though.
Culturally, I heard that D is cut throat. That wasn’t the case at EY. It’s very collaborative. There are some very good leaders in EY PAS but for the good, there are an equal amount of toxic leaders. Several of my former colleagues have taken opportunities at Accenture T&O because of it.

I work in PAS at EY. Feel free to message me if you have questions! I’ve been in a few groups at EY and love the PAS family I’ve built. I mainly do change management, training, and org design for large system implementations (mostly because I love the people I work with and am always busy).
Hi EY4 I have an interview coming up. Any tips? How is WLB? Team culture? Salary?
The culture is better and more supportive IMHO
I too have heard culture is better
PAS has quite a broad offering from HR / talent mgmt consulting to org design to change management to immigration to expat tax services. What is your area of specialization?
Change & OD!
PAS is awesome, that’s where I’m at. The way I look at it is that to be in the”people” part of business you gotta like people, which leads to some very personable individuals. Everyone is super friendly and has their wits at the same time. People collaborate with you at all levels and are always open to meeting you and hearing from you, super supportive all around. Lots of areas you can explore too.
Culture is great because people really support you and WLB, no one will ever question you for being away for your family or vacation or have secret thoughts you should be there, seems like everyone knows the important stuff (above job) is more important. Out of 20 people I’ve worked with since I started, I didn’t like working with about 4, that’s a pretty good success rate
Which city OP? One EY PAS is not the same as another
Lots of people leaving all the time because of the awful culture in both, Systems and WFA
Culture is less cutthroat. No up or out.
