..... you’ve not been following the news, have you?
Yeah. Free dry cleaning. Gotta fold yourself though
How many people had even heard of them before the Papa John's fiasco?
Yes they got rid of Papa John's... But they knew what he was like and chased the business in the first place. They have no morals. You can't be surprised when a well documented racist is well.. racist.
Echoing LS2, benefits were great. Unlimited PTO, good health coverage, standard 401(k) matching. There was no formal WFH policy but depending on your manager you were able to take flex time and work remotely when needed. Hours were sometimes long but you were also in charge of your hours and could come and go as you chose. No timesheets. Most managers kept regular dedicated weekly check-ins. Good snacks, stocked drinks, Summer Fridays.
@GSD they lost multiple clients beyond Papa Johns, and, it’s wholesale changes at the top. I applaud them for standing up to the Papa John’s fiasco - but when your CEO, CCO, CIO all get laid off.. you have to wonder what’s going on in there with Wasserman
And yes that business loss strongly contributed to the layoffs of 85 people. Really a horrible decision. Lots of terrible decision makers at the top there.
The other LS people must work out of the NYC office because the PDX office could not be more different. Horrible managers, racist culture, never allowed to use PTO (managers would demand you to work while on vacation)
Yes I’ve read the news and yes I knew about them before the papa johns news. Still curious, that’s all!
@ACD1 they were a really, really, really hot social shop in the US. Unless you’re not in the US or remotely touching social, it’s unlikely you’ve not heard of them - which makes their fall even more stunning.
Honestly the benefits were the best. Great and incredibly cheap health insurance, unlimited PTO that you were actually encouraged to use- and almost everyone did, the office was beautiful and the people were great. But yeah, go anywhere else right now.
They also lost Bud Light and LG mobile within a couple of months.
@AD1 not sure I understand why the situation signifies a “fall”? Everyone loses clients and deals with ups and downs... and frankly isn’t it a good thing that they parted ways with Papa John’s? Shows they stand for the right things...
Lmaooooo
Also kind of shocked they they're hiring when they have 70+ people who were laid-off and "on-call" until October.
