Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Total years of experience: 5.5 years
Note:
I got another offer by got call from applied long time before job.
Just i tried and cracked.
I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.

Layoffs are ongoing right now, heard both in HC and S&O. Right now they are targeting people on the bench for a while and people up for promotion that have always gotten 3's. After year end there will most likely be another round depending on final #s at year end. Best advice I can give is stay staffed and stay needed. This is a consulting wide thing though not just Deloitte. Many other firms had layoff rounds already.
Deloitte had a big year last year and got overaggresivecwith their targets. Although the year is good it hasn't met targets. And when your assets are people and only people, cost cutting starts with people. But this business goes in cycles, trimming the fat is a normal part of consulting cycles and D4 is correct in the up or out model.
As someone who was laid off at PwC... If you think you're getting the axe, make sure you immediately cash out any of your fitness subsidies, rewards, whatever your firm gives you, etc. Same with syncing your expenses, both AmEx and reimbursable. I lost all my rewards and couldn't sync anything because my access was cut like 20 minutes after the meeting. And to this day PwC still hasn't paid me back for my reimbursable expenses which I mailed in like two months ago. Better safe than sorry!!
Nope... I took a couple months just to get my mental/physical health back to a reasonable standard bc it absolutely plummeted while at PwC. I hated every second of my job in FS and wasn't in a very good place emotionally (and subsequently, physically). Truthfully the layoffs were the best thing to have happened to me since I wanted to quit but this way I got severance and didn't have to pay my signing bonus back :) Everything happens for a reason - remember that if you get let go! As for finding a job, I'm just now starting to look - I haven't been able to find another job in consulting in my areas of interest or one that will take me with less than a year of experience. Am most likely going into industry
So many farewell emails. Multiple offices. Some high performers
I can't make heads or tails out of the good (mostly 2 PEs) being let go if they have good utilization but I know of more than one example of this happening personally at the SC level. This is not just "out counseling" for poor performance. I would think utilization should be a factor but it doesn't seem to be based on those I know that we're let go.
Layoffs for real ?! Dann
Damn*
I've heard you get 4 weeks of pay/time to find something else

Anyone know anyone who's actually been laid off?
Not yet. But know people with suspicious meetings in calendars.

@D33 potentially below M and in first year
Based on utilization from what I see. Top performers for the FY that got hit by slow periods of being held in anticipation of projects selling
