I am about to transition from being a junior partner at a large law firm (my practice has focused on private equity M&A) to Deputy General Counsel at a large-ish Pubco. If I got a manager for employment claims’ position is it hard to pivot to an associate counsel role etc? What do you think the main difference between the two are? Is it a good position for a stepping stone to in house counsel?
