I once had a job where I was ultimately made to be the scapegoat for the many problems at the company. It was an extremely difficult time and I had very little support. Plus it was during the pandemic. I spent the next couple of years looking for another full time position. Thankfully, I found one last month. Soon after I started, I realized I’m still troubled by that toxic experience. I’m now using my newly acquired EAP benefits to address it because I’m afraid of it happening again.

So about 8 mos into my 1st year I accepted a PE/VC role that starts in Nov. I was pretty unhappy and felt like IB wasn’t for me. Few months after that I feel like I’ve settled into the role more, bonded with my team and just happier overall. I still dread working every weekend & over holidays but I feel more confident about my work. We had reviews and turns out I’m top bucket/highest ranked analyst in my class (NYC EB) and now I feel guilty about leaving. Anyone have thoughts here?

I just started this job as a graphic designer for a small printing company. Since working there, I've already had to perform other tasks besides graphic design. The company is really short-staffed so occasionally "everyone has to chip in" so to speak. I don't mind helping out but sometimes it happens a bit too often.
On top of that, the art department is in the same space as the sales department. So the sales lady is always giving her opinion about how the creative process should go.
