Everyone I needed final approvals from to get these expert retention agreements signed off has decided to ignore me on literally the day our disclosures are due.

Realizing that even though I enjoy litigation, I have a really hard time with the amount of hours we work leading up to trial. Four days out from trial and I am exhausted/on the verge of illness from lack of sleep. How do people do this their entire career?

Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer. Would love advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before. It’s tough to get them to take a risk on me

I need a change so badly I’m on the verge of tears almost every day. I’ve invested so much preparing for this career. I know I have so much talent that’s not being utilized. I feel stifled and stuck. Joined a new firm at the start of this year but it’s not a good fit and I want to leave for a different role type. Will it look bad to potential employers if I leave this company after 6 months? I was with my prior employer for 2.5 years before this.

So I used to work for a company where my job was good, was a director of business solutions for a fashion brand. Only issue was that the CFO micromanaged and ended up leaving. My background is digital transformation however I took an infrastructure position to rebuild a provincial healthcare system. I always lacked the hardware side and thought this was a good move but I feel like I’m losing my digital skills and don’t enjoy the work. I’m in it for 7 months now.

As I am from the industry and haven't heard about this company before, I would like some comments or thoughts about working for this company?
