looking for advice: had final round with DoorDash feel pretty good about it. decision coming next week. however, during my interviews i didnt discuss my unique experience (parents own a vendor truck) which i grew up working. i also have waitstaff experience, both not on resume as ive been in consulting/finance after college. position is pre sales restaurant strategy. do i reach out to one of the people who interviewed me on linkedin to give one last push for the job? do i just wait it out?

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

How useful is a CPA license in finding a non-accounting job? Eventually I want to go into more of a financial analyst role but tbh I’m curious about what most people leave auditing to go into. I’m open to anything.

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

$325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path. Love the intellectual variety, smart colleagues, flexibility (WFH has let me take occasional 2-3h windows during the day for personal activities) - can’t take the stress anymore. Are WFH industry roles at the $300-500k TC level really that much less stressful?
