Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Would it be practical to look for an apartment 10-15 kms away if the office location is Marathahalli?
Location of choice would be hebbal, thanisandra, avalahalli and other similar ones.
Would it make sense to reside in such locations and travel to work?
Would like to hear from folk who are/have done the above?

But I also have offers from Deloitte and EY to be a GPS consultant at ~100k. Is it worth it to move to D or EY? Priority Pass (through my CSR) cancelled their relationship with the lounge in my home airport all of the sudden. That was a huge benefit of having the card for me. Anything I can do with Chase?

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
