Looking for new career opportunities. I am a paralegal in DC with 4 years experience with standard litigation in NY/VA, bankruptcy/complex litigation and judgment enforcement matters. I am hoping to transition into legal ops or anything else that’s not a paralegal role.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Does anyone who switched from consulting to product management have any recommendations of h helpful PM books, courses, or programs?

I'm a current AC at my agency but looking to switch departments. I'm torn between applying to the SEM specialist role vs the social media specialist role. How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? I’m looking into getting my MLIS/MLS. Does anyone have any recommendations for online programs geared towards law libraries? I’ve been digging around on the ALA website and looking at school websites but 1) there’s a lot of info to digest and 2) I’m not seeing much on law libraries even in the programs supposedly geared towards that.
