Anyone have or recommend a remote flexible well paying job preferably in auditing or tax for entry level. I hold a BA in computer information and I’ve been an insurance adjuster for the last 6 years. Can anyone provide a referral to Microsoft?
Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

Hi.. I can refer you if you come across any suitable HR open positions on Deloitte Canada site.
Thank you! Will send you a DM once I get off work!
Find a different field - honestly anything in tech is a growing area - analytics is everywhere. HR is ripe for automation.
Plus, focus on an industry - it makes you sound comitted - even if you are just saying it… my interest in X is driving my success as an asset to your company
Thanks for the advice! Of course I would not say the same thing on my application or in an interview. I didn’t think it would hurt to list my interested fields when I’m looking for opportunities. While I did list tech as an interested field, it’s not my only targeted field. I’m not sure why technically you would advise against HR in tech, and I wouldn’t know until I have an opportunity to try.

HR is not applying the science - outmoded models are the standard. HR is going to be distupted by Ai and tech - get out while you still can
Terms like “Human Capital” are why Human Resources is not a true profession. The practitioners have no sense of how distasteful some of these terms really are.
There is so much doublespeak. Everyone has been in an uncomfortable interview, training or disipline session and choked on the fakeness, veiled manipulation or meaninglessness of the interaction with HR.
Honestly, so much ill has been done in the name of HR. Ai will allow the C Suite to do the work of HR and also empower line managers to again do the job that has been farmed-out to specialists for far too long.
As well, when workers hire, train and incentivize their coworkers collectively, things have gone much better for them. Get out while you still can.
