Looking for small, ideally Bluetooth speaker for my home office. Looking for good sound quality, of course. I don’t need it to be a “smart” speaker either.

Can’t go wrong with any of them to be honestly. Both the Roam and the Move have Bluetooth if that’s what you want. I have 2 Ones, 1 Five, and a Roam (use this one on Bluetooth for anytime I’m outside)

JBL stuff.

Anker s3 seems to be good but not used it myself

WonderBoom UE is really good. You can get the small speaker for $99 (79 if you find a sale.. May want to look at Walmart.com). Also, if you buy two, you can sync them for stereo sound.

I have a jbl charge 3

Bose Sound Link mini I’ve always enjoyed

Looking for a new office chair at home. Any suggestions?

Two key qualities: comfortable and adjustable

Price is very flexible. Much rather pay more for a nicer chair than get a deal.

Thanks!

Looking for ways to streamline Daily staffing/coverage Communication across multiple offices. I prefer to standardize something through Microsoft Teams since we already use that platform, but open to other free applications/tools.
The biggest struggle is each office being able to see “the bigger picture.” My staff (RNs and MAs) complains they are always covering for their home office and other offices and no one covers for them, but that’s not the case. Want them to see how other offices cover.

Just landed a full time gig, looking to get some furniture so I’m not working on my parents’ kitchen table during this remote period. Any recommendations for desks and chairs? I’m hoping to find something that’s easy to assemble and break down for when I need to move, and something that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

I know everyone has a different kind of setup that works for them. I currently have a laptop, drawing pad, second monitor, and a desk riser.

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.

So here are my questions.

How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.

When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks in advance!

So just throwing this out there. Can agencies give us WFH bonuses to cover the cost of setting up a home office? I had to invest quite a hefty sum for a desk, office chair and upgrade my wifi connection. Also, can we deduct our work space rent area for tax purposes? Every little bit helps!

Been a senior for almost 2 years and never reviewed staff's workpaper. Because short staffed, I still need to prepare many workpaper. I do supervise the staff and go over workpapers/questions with them whenever they need, but we don't have the time and budget for me to do reviewer work. Is this common in audit? Any suggestion?

I am thinking of leaving my stable full time job for a contract position (ongoing with no time frame) for a bigger raise (making an exra $20/hour) with a large tech company. I'll still get benefits through Aquent so it's not a huge loss. It just feels risky in terms of being a contractor and the potential for it to end at anytime. Seems like a good opportunity though to get my foot in the door and potentially apply for full time jobs later on
