I have been assigned to project in tcs. I will be introduced to client only when I complete certain certification. I have been asked to complete it within a week. I am trying my best and giving 4-5 hrs daily to prepare.

I am a little bit worried about this. Can someone tell me how does this impace the growth in tcs. If one doesn't complete a certification what actions are taken. I Joined last week. As I come from a product based company I have done certifications but there was no pressure

Small firm (my boss, me, & a paralegal). After a hearing I did not handle, boss intended to seek review of the ruling in its entirety. What was communicated to me by paralegal was to seek review of a portion.

Seeking review is now time-barred. Boss is not upset, but this is 1 case & 1 problem. There are other cases & other stories.

Till last July I was earning 12 LPA, now I switch to a product based with 30 LPA. Where 27 is the base. Monthly I pay 45k tax.
Things that i am doing already is LIC = 40 k , SSA= 50 k (for my kid) and tution fees = 25 K .So altogether withPF other superannuation fund I can show 1.5 Lakhs in 80 C.

Apart from this planning to buy flats or small villa in chennai. I can pay invest more as my most money goes as a saving or buy gold as risk free. Please advice wat else can i do? Kindly

What should a commercial claims account manager be making as a salary ? Handles asbestos claims only. Works for a TPA handling claims for 4 carriers. Law degree with many years trial experience as in house ID but for personal lines. This is first job handling commercial claims

I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

What is the average salary for an Employee Benefits Account Manager? I’ve been in the industry 6 years.

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

Currently I make a base of $63k/yr and $1k/mo in bonuses pre-tax. I manage a performance for a team of licensed insurance agents (service-based role in a direct business environment), maintain our business relationships, and support adhoc training needs. Just made a career pivot and accepted a job with Progressive in sales. I’ve heard more good things than bad about the company. I turned down Liberty and Allstate so I’m hoping I made the right choice. Curious if anyone works there can offer their opinion about what it’s like working for Progressive.

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

Where do you go to keep up to date on new Healthcare benefit products, regulations, etc? Is there an industry/regulatory resource?
