Looking for some sincere wisdom and advice on an exit opp. I have a Corp strategy offer but comp is significantly lower than current ($50K lower base and same bonus). I know it’s a good step forward in terms of career but just can’t seem to swallow the pill of a huge paycut. It also feels like a double whammy with $50K in childcare costs. I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. My manager has given me rating 1 in confirmatory appraisal on may 18 may which happened after completion of 1 year at wipro.
I raised the issue of rating with my manager immediately , he convinced me not to worry , ratings are already submitted , I asked him to resubmit cause i don't deserve rating 1
