Looking to boomerang back to PwC. The offer for a salaried position was pretty solid, but that one-time sign on bonus will go away the next year (obviously). They mentioned ‘Talent-Exchange’ and getting paid hourly with no benefits. If I did that, I would make about 205k (gross, with no benefits). That’s assuming I would average 55 hours a week throughout the year (pretty similar to what I work right now). Anyone have experience doing this? I’m worried averaging 55 is not possible.

Can anyone tell me what a Senior Manager role equivalent is in Talent? Is it Director? Assistant Director?

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. Any thoughts on what I could ask for at end of year reviews for a salary increase?

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.

I like my current job, company and public accounting.
