Looking to join my local country club and trying to figure out how much others spend above and beyond their minimums. I calculated I’m at around $8700 minimum for dues, food minimums (doesn’t include beverages), and other known fees per year.

Curious how much extra I should budget for those TBD fees like: tips, on course games/matches, tournament fees,etc? Is 15-20% a safe estimate?

I feel like when I’m busy with work, I don’t even want to reply to attractive guys. Is this normal?

For those of you that travel, any tips to practice your swing while on the road? Only swinging the club once a week when I play on Sunday just doesn't cut it.

Taking some golf lessons, got a women’s starter set I got to make sure I liked golf first. Instructor mentioned that the driver is like swinging a wet noodle for me lol and I should look into a men’s or one with stiffer flex. I have no idea what to look for. Are the people at Dicks Sporting Goods knowledgeable or worth driving the 40 min to PGA store?

I cannot for the life of me hit a 3 wood off the fairway. Any tips on how to get consistent with this club?
