Same, but I’m an LAA with no office door to close. Last week I got my boss a diet soda and that’s literally the only task I couldn’t have done from home. I commute 3 hours round trip and have many, many years here. Throw me a effing bone and let me WFH 2x a week until I retire! For god’s sake this is awful!
Oh boy, I guess I shouldn’t complain. I have to be in 3 days per week (but really only 2).
I’m annoyed because everyone is supposed to be in on Wednesdays and the partners never show up. But every partner loves to give a speeches about how important it is for me, as an associate, to be in the office and get face time with partners. I don’t disagree with that necessarily, but partners have to show up for me to get face time with them!

I just don't go in most of the time. I went in yesterday and only saw my office's managing partner. I'm good till next week.
Luckily the people I support are all over the country and I literally have no legit reason to go back to the office. My group is very senior and if they ever forced us to go back for even part of the week I think half would retire on the spot. My commute was three hours round trip as well (DC); don't miss it at all.
