Love being forced into the office to have extremely loud and chatty colleagues (even with my door closed) and no partners around. So glad I woke up early for the commute to sit in my office with the door closed and still have to call/Zoom everyone I’m working with. Makes sense! 🫠

IEP, 504, and those without internet will return in-person next week while rest of students remain remote. Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. They are saying it’s a liability issue if they have one student in the room with them, even though teaching other via Zoom. Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

We have motion sensor lights in my office and the sensor is far from my desk. Consequently, if I'm on a long WebEx, the lights go out and it's embarrassing. The building won't change the sensor. Anyone find a solution for this (aside from standing up and moving, which would be very awkward)? I can't rearrange my office.

Hi! Can someone recommend a source for learning how do simple, fun music lessons on Zoom? I teach first grade and use music for my transitions. I would also like to play songs for them with my guitar, but am concerned it won’t sound good on zoom (the guitar, not my voice, which is bad, we established that long ago)

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Any advice on how to deal with a partner/boss who is shifting all responsibility to me with zero guidance, no mentoring, and an unwillingness to discuss the issues? (Small firm, only associate under this partner and have been working at the firm for 2 years).
