I love making banana bread. I make a gluten free version with just banana, PB and almond flour - sometimes I throw in some choc chips in there too! It's perfect, it satisfies my sweet tooth and its so easy to stock in the fridge. I have a slice every night, and on days I've gonna extra hard, I also give myself a scoop of Halo Top ice cream because the banana bread kinda resembles a brownie texture.
That looks great! If I'm worried about dessert I'll just go for my usual standby and have some fruit. When I've been really diligent about my weight I'll just without dessert most of the time. But then when I have a piece of fruit it will seem like a real treat. It's funny how we condition ourselves to expect dessert, but if we pass it up we can handle it just fine.
I wish to get there. Fruit sugar just doesn't do it for me. Guess it takes some training.
