Marriott
Marriott is only good for number of chains. Hyatt is where it’s at.
That’s hot, Hilton will help you live the simple life.
I prefer Marriot
Marriott. Status is harder to get with Marriott, which is a good thing because it makes the benefits better and more exclusive. With Hilton, anyone can get diamond just by having a credit card and so when everyone can get upgraded, no one gets upgraded
It’s easy to get top hotel status if u travel often. You can do both.
Marriott, largest in the world and North America…and most properties for redemption when you travel overseas
marriott
I do Marriott. Ambassador Service is basically useless. However, if you pick one and stick with it, perks are worth it over the years.
Hilton
Hilton guy here, used to be Marriott guy and liked that better.
Marriott.
Marriott
Which is better for international travel? Are there more Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt properties? Or none of the above?
I like Hyatt!
Marriott, especially since merger with SPG. Can find a Sheraton in the most remote areas.
Rising Star
Hilton and Marriott, then I decide between them depending on location and property
+1 on hyatt - though my practice generally brings me only to major metros.
Definitely the highest suite upgrade rate of the big chains - I used to get one roughly 3/4 trips. Top notch, and I like their app better than the other chains as well.
Personally I’d say I Hyatt if it’s a good option for you. Much smaller footprint though, so it depends where you get staffed.
Otherwise, I do both Marriott and Hilton. Easy enough to maintain both.
It’s been a while since I looked up either of their challenges though, so double check what offers are actually out there now: I’d start at Marriott and status match over to Hilton when you get titanium.
You can maintain status at Hilton with 30 stays if you’re willing to hotel hop each night.
Then you can just stay at wherever has the best promotion going on.
