I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?

After a final interview, how many days after can I expect an answer from the recruiter?

At the end of the interview, the person told me I passed the interview and they were going to talk to the Director who’s a level under them. It’s a yes for them and they’re happy to work with me.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?
