Going through interviews for a capital excellence associate. I'm a Mechanical engineer/certified construction manager, have managed over $350M in capital design and construction spending over a 8 year career. No master's, undergrad in Mech E from a good engineering school (Stevens) but not a true "target". My research looks like base/bonus/sign on of 165/35/30 for this type of role. Sound accurate to anyone who can hypothesize on this?

At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. I finally got a raise (after 10 years) from 45k to 50k with less than 10k in incentives while others who are just starting at lower positions make more than me..I want to bring this up but don’t want to come off in a bad way considering they finally gave me a raise this year.

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
