I have a coffee chat with a MBB partner in financial services practice tomorrow. Thinking of asking questions around key challenges the firm is helping FS solve, trends (current and future) in the industry, culture and what makes certain ppl more successful. Any others I should ask?
What is the average wait period to be staffed in a project in USI? It would be 2.5 months since my DOJ. Have been put into two trainings but no update of project. Contacted RM he said he is working on it. Is it a thing of concern?
Any one here working with Instacart? How is the firm doing? How is the Work culture? I am not sure about the post pandemic growth. Any insights?
Anyone heard of Fiddler.ai in the Bay Area? Thoughts on that place and their tech? Company culture? Anything is helpful. Of course I looked them up in Google, but I want to know more.

In an up or out culture I think out is more likely than up for me next. Honestly, it’s a great feeling accepting it and ready to start looking for what’s next after so many years of consulting.
What certifications are good for technical project manager? I was thinking to start with PSM and PSPO and then move to ITIL, ITSM. Not sure about this though. Not planning to do PMP as I think it’s more waterfall focused. Was also thinking about AWS. Any other certifications recommended?

Advice needed. I am considering laterally moving to a HR role but don’t know if I should. Recruiting seems to pay more and will allow me to maximize my salary while I’m young. I’m just not sure if it’s the best fit for my life down the road later in my career. Has anyone been in this position before that can offer advice ?
How much utilization is "too much" utilization?
Now that my school is completely in-person, I’m noticing that the students who were online last year are pushing back on everything we do in school. Following the most basic of rules, directions, or fun is a struggle. I teach 8th grade, but I coach in the high school. I’m seeing it across the board. Is anyone else seeing this too? Is your school or district addressing it with any preventative measures social-emotional supports?

Have a true IIED case (negligent handling of corpse). Defendants defaulted and I am now considering the best course forward to get my client the best recovery. The easy route would be Default Judgment, but my concern is a judge may not be willing to make the type of award we are seeking. Alternatively could set the matter for trial only on damages since all allegations are admitted. Thoughts on best way to convince a judge to make a 7+ figure award in a Default Judgment?
My in-laws are the worst. The list of micro aggressions are too much to list, but the most recent transgression occurred yesterday. I recently had a baby and I now use shape wear to feel more confident and it looks good. I think a certain auntie noticed and made a beeline to tell the family. I overheard someone say I knew she couldn’t look that good that soon 🙄. I wish I could distance myself but I have two kids so it makes it more challenging. My husband is also close to them. For added contex
