I’m a rising sophomore studying finance at Indiana University. Im currently applying for investment management internships for the 2023 summer but I haven’t fully decided what path of investment management I want to pursue. My two interests are either Equity Research or Sales and Trading. Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.

What’s the realistic salary expectations post-pandemic for an experiential producer with 5+ years of experience and 8+ years of managerial experience (in multiple fields)?? Is everyone seeing a rise in lower paying jobs and starter roles?? Im in a role equivalent to my entry level college role which was almost 8 years ago.

I have been in production for 10 years but all of it has been done through my own production company (which was basically just me)

Should I just list the relevant projects instead of saying I have 10 years experience as a Senior Producer or Executive producer on my resume?

I am in a super good position at Jellyfish as a Director with a good room in terms of growth. Great responsibilities, work life balance and I strongly love my job. However, there is an opportunity to join Google Dublin as an Agency Development Manager (level 4) with strong salary, new challenges, different role and responsibilities etc. I HAVE A STRONG DOUBT about a trade off: is better to have a strong margin of growth and a good position or join Google with the above conditions?

My manager thinks the best next step for me is to move into management and leadership and has started pushing me to apply for an engineering manager role. They say that I will be a good fit because of my strong technical background paired with the leadership and people skills I display currently.

I had two rounds of discussion (more than a month ago) and the recruiter informed me that they’ll be scheduling the HR discussion and then be rolling out the offer.

It has been two weeks now and I haven’t heard from the recruiter nor has my HR discussion been scheduled.

Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.
