Mixed feelings for the day. I think I’m getting an offer today but it’s from my 4th choice among places I’m currently interviewing at. I’ve been unemployed for a month and still deep in the running for 3 other roles that I prefer but competing with at least 2-3 other candidates. It’s weird that I feel more pressure now than when I didn’t have any interviews lined up. Here we go.

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better.
